USB4-80G Hyper-Flex Cable
One cable. Everything.
Most high-performance cables are built thick and rigid. They work — but they're annoying to route, annoying to store, and annoying to look at.
VedinSphere built the USB4-80G Hyper-Flex for people who wanted one cable that handles charging, data, and display without fighting your setup. At ∅3.6mm, it's slim enough to actually live on your desk.
What it handles
-
80Gbps data transfer — standard mode for all Thunderbolt 5 / USB4 devices
-
120Gbps via Bandwidth Boost — automatically activated when connected to a compatible display, dedicating extra bandwidth for smoother, higher-resolution output
-
240W charging (EPR-compatible charger required)
-
16K display output (compatible display required)
-
Compatible with MacBook, iPad Pro, and all Thunderbolt 5 / USB4 devices

Conductor Structure — Coaxial Silver-Plated Design
Built with a standard coaxial silver-plated conductor architecture, from core to outer layer:
- Silver-Plated OFC Conductor (OFC + Ag) — Core signal layer; silver plating minimizes high-frequency loss for stable 80Gbps transmission
- Low-Loss Dielectric Layer — Preserves signal integrity and reduces transmission latency
- Dual-Layer Shielding (Aluminum Foil + Copper Braid) — Suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) and prevents signal crosstalk
- High-Flex TPE Jacket — Ultra-slim 3.44mm diameter, bend-resistant for daily use
Engineered to support 240W high-power charging with stable thermal performance under continuous use.

Technical Note
The Truth About 120Gbps Performance: Thunderbolt 5 achieves 120Gbps through "Bandwidth Boost" mode, typically activated when driving high-resolution displays. For standard bi-directional data transfers (such as external SSDs), the standard speed is 80Gbps.
Please Note: Actual speeds are determined by your host device (requires Intel Barlow Ridge controller) and the performance limits of your peripherals. Most current high-end SSDs peak at 6,000–8,000MB/s. This is a hardware bottleneck, not a limitation of the cable itself.
FAQ
Is this cable compatible with my MacBook Pro / iPad Pro?
Yes. The USB4-80G Hyper-Flex is fully compatible with all MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iPad Pro models with Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 ports.
What's the difference between 80Gbps and 120Gbps?
80Gbps is the standard bi-directional speed for data transfers. 120Gbps is activated automatically via Bandwidth Boost when connected to a compatible high-resolution display.
Can this cable charge my laptop at 240W?
Yes, but you need an EPR-compatible charger (48V/5A). Standard 100W chargers will still work — they'll just charge at their rated wattage.
Why isn't my SSD reaching 80Gbps?
Most high-end SSDs peak at 6,000–8,000 MB/s, which is about 48–64Gbps. This is a hardware limit of the SSD, not the cable.
